2009-2010 Capital Campaign
Donate to the PTA Capital Campaign
- The PTA Capital Campaign is an annual fundraising effort which funds initiatives directly benefiting all Brent students. It consists of two important efforts; direct tax deductible donations from parents and direct tax deductible donations from neighbors and friends.
- A Mailing to parents will occur at the end of September and in October parents will hand deliver letters to friends and neighbors. You can help with your donations and by spreading the word within your community about the need to support this great community asset.
- Every single dollar counts – so whether you can donate, $10, $20, $100 or even $1,000 – every single penny donated is deeply appreciated and will be put to use helping the entire school – at every grade level.
- Over the past two years, PTA Capital Campaign funds made a physical education program possible. This year, Coach Sarah is providing physical education to our children because the 2008-2009 campaign generated over $24,000. Generous parents donated an average of $750 and neighbors donated an average of $80. Contributions ranged from $20 to $5,000.
- If the campaign is successful in reaching its $35,000 goal, funds would ensure the continuation of physical education, allow for the purchase of musical instruments, fund field trips, solidify the Chinese language program, continue the PTA’s commitment to providing each classroom with critical curriculum materials and so much more. Results are in evidence all over the school and your financial support will greatly extend upon this base.
- Please take out your check book right now, write a check to Brent PTA for any amount you feel comfortable with and drop it off.
