Ticket Policy
The Spring Gala Committee is excited to announce that the 3rd annual Brent Spring Gala, “Taste of the Hill,” will be held on April 17th at St. Mark’s Church at 3rd and A Streets SE at 6:00 PM.
We encourage all Brent families to support the Gala, either by purchasing a ticket, helping to organize the event, volunteering at the event, procuring auction items, or purchasing raffle tickets. Please keep in mind that the purpose of this event is to raise money for our school. The funds go to the PTA budget, which supports many of the extracurricular activities at Brent. So when you purchase tickets for the Gala or the raffle, please think of it as a donation to Brent.
Because there has been some confusion in the past as to how tickets are distributed, the committee has come up with a policy that we think is fair.
Gala Tickets and Raffle Tickets this year will remain $75 per person, which is a good deal considering the quality of the party and food and wine that is served.
Gala tickets can be purchased:

Even if you do not attend the Gala, you can support Brent by purchasing raffle tickets. Raffle tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. You can get also get 4 raffle tickets for $25 if you purchase them with your ticket to the Gala —this is the best deal!
Volunteers: If you do not feel that you can afford a ticket to the Gala, you may volunteer to help set up or work during the gala. You will be expected to work for a combined 4 hours. We are limiting volunteer tickets to 20.
Teachers: In order to say thank you to our teachers and celebrate their hard work, we hope that all of the Brent teachers will be able to attend the Gala. In order to facilitate this, we have set up a general fund so that parents can donate a ticket to the teachers. We hope to have all of the teachers’ tickets donated this year.
Note: The Gala committee is not getting free tickets. Although the committee has donated many hours and much energy to organize the Gala, all members will be paying for tickets.
