Ms. McDowell, Music teacher

Tamara McDowell (Music) has a B.S. in music education from Missouri State University. She is currently studying biology at the University of the District of Columbia and plans to begin a master’s in elementary education next fall. Before coming to DC, her two-year tenure with the Peace Corps took her to Tanzania, where she taught high school biology, designed curricula, and trained other teachers. She is also a marathon runner.
